Depression refers to a mental sickness that badly impacts not only the mood and thoughts, but also the body. The different changes taking place in mind and body manifest as unusual and negative feelings that tend to last for weeks and months without any considerable halt. Feelings of disappointment or being upset about something are just part of normal ups and downs of life. For example, grieving at a major loss is a natural process but it may seem to you as being depressed.
There is a lot that adults have to deal with. Personal life, professional life, responsibilities, desires and so on. Guilty feeling – have a feel “never do anything right” and a thought of worthless and as burden to others.
