Fungal Infections are infections caused by microorganisms called fungi. They are generally not considered serious unless the affected individual’s immune system is weak.

Some rashes are produced by bacterial infection as fungus. They too are very common but don’t affect the skin as frequently as eczema or rashes without fungal infection. These fungal infections are not caused by hygiene. People who are extremely hygiene conscious too get such skin rashes. Many people think that these rashes are caused by their pets, or in the gym, shower, swimming pool or spa but these things are not the cause.

Common skin rashes are known as ringworm or tinea corpora, athlete foot (rashes between the toes) and rashes around the undergarment. But such red bumps known as rashes can appear anywhere on the skin. The common rashes appear as small scaly patches on the skin not caused by infection, patches caused by fungus or bacteria’s and itchy red bumps covering a big area of the skin.
